Manager, Special Projects
As a manager associated with Camp Hall, Ed has a range of responsibilities with the property. From an infrastructure perspective, Ed will be working with technology aspects of the development ranging from street lighting to infrastructure and telecommunications. In addition, Ed will be working with Deneene Guerry on building valuable partnerships with property owners at the site, as well as with members of the community in an effort to maintain the industrial park’s strong “People First” focus.
Ed has been with Santee Cooper for 27 years and has a variety of experience in both customer service and technology. Prior to joining Santee Cooper, Ed worked with AT&T for 10 years, specializing in the start-up of large customer-service centers and shouldering responsibilities ranging from site build-out to the selection and implementation of data and voice solutions. During his time with Santee Cooper, he has been the Customer Service Manager for the retail customer segment and has also spent equivalent time as the Manager of Information Technology.
Ed is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with degrees in both Management and Marketing. He obtained his MBA in Business Management and Finance from Webster University. He is a graduate of Leadership South Carolina and has many years of community service in Rotary International. Ed resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Dixie, and enjoys spending time with his four grandchildren.
