A Commerce Park for the Next Generation of Industry
Camp Hall, located in Berkeley County along I-26 outside of Charleston, South Carolina, is a commerce park being built to support the next generation of business and its workforce. The property, which broke ground in June of 2018, is the home of Volvo Car’s only U.S. automobile manufacturing plant. It is also currently the site of nearly $100 million in new construction – and growing – in addition to the $1.1 billion Volvo plant.
The construction of Volvo’s office complex, a 100-acre site on the north end of the park, is a $30 million project currently being built adjacent to Volvo’s current plant site and expansion area.
Most recently, Exeter Property Group has begun work on an approximately $50 million, 945,000-square-foot logistics park on 77 acres at the south end of Camp Hall.
An approximately $15 million investment is underway to create a network of mobility options, recreation areas, emergency service facilities, sewer and water services, and fiber, power and mobile network services, solidifying the foundation of a commerce park ready for the modern-day workforce.
Camp Hall is committed to providing high-quality utility infrastructure to support the needs of current and future businesses here, as well as preparing for what will be its Village Center – a functional and collaborative employee services space where members of the workforce can thrive.
